I started Dawson Tire & Wheel, because I knew there had to be a better way — for my family, for our farming friends, and for the agriculture industry as a whole. It took a big leap of faith to open the business, but I was passionate about helping those around me in any way possible.
That was more than 20 years ago. I couldn’t have predicted how much help we were able to provide the farming community. Just as importantly, I never expected how much that community would help our business.
No matter how much or how far our little business expands, our primary mission remains the same: we want to do everything possible to help our customers grow. For me, that was easy when we first opened our doors. I personally saw and shook hands with every person who walked through our doors. I could ask every customer face-to-face how we could do a better job for them and their operation.
These days that’s hard. It’s the one downside to having a bigger footprint across the country. I can’t be everywhere at all times. That’s where email comes in handy.
